HOLIDAY CYCLING.

E. REYNOLDS AND CO., LTD. Holidays and cycling tours usually go together, and this fact doubtless accounts for the industrious scene which prevails within the cycle establishment of E. Reynolds and Co., Ltd., Karangahape Road. When a Herald representative chanced along yesterday, tho staff were going at high pressure, and tho manager (Mr. Frank Hutchinson) stated that this had been tho state of affairs for some weeks. The firm is wellknown throughout the Dominion as wholesale and retail dealers in all that appertains to the bicycle or motor, having branches in tho most important centres of New Zealand. They are agents for several good reliable English makes of bicycles, including the Rudgo Whitworth, which is the only machine allowed to use the coat of arms signifying English Royal patronage. These bikes are ridden by many of tho most prominent racing cyclists in New Zealand, and have become very popular on the roads. Messrs. Reynolds ana Co. go in extensively for tires, both for roadster and racing machines, stocking, among other makes, Palmer, Dunlop, A 1 Clincher, Bates, and Continental. All necessary accessories are also largely, stocked. The firm are the solo agents for the famous " F.N." motor cycle and a new machine of two-speed gear, which has produced excellent results in England, is just being landed. Improvements upon the ordinary motor cycle parts appear to have been effected throughout the machine. The lubricating is effected by automatic drop distribution. Alf h.p. light weight and a four-cylinder machine among the display invito attention. Just upon a dozen motor machines ha\;e been disposed of during the season. - . The Auckland branch has been active in organising frequent races, including contests for the Rudge Whitworth championship shield (valued at £17), and a silver cup, valued at £5. They offer exceptional facilities for the purchase of machines, being prepared to accept second-hand bicycles in part, payment, while the new machines are sold at. practically cash prices on reasonable terms. They havo also laid themselves out to cater specially for country patrons. i;
