POSTAL STRIKE ENDED.
MEN RETURN TO WORK. NO CONCESSIONS GIVEN. Bv Telegraph.— Association.— Paris, March 23. The * strike in the French Postal, Telegraph, and Telephone Departments has ended, the men returning to work under former conditions. The strike ended largely owing to M. Cleinenceau's: emphatic refusal to discuss the resignation of M. Simyan, the Permanent Secretary to the Department, which was demanded by the men. The Premier emphasised the Government's , conciliatory attitude, which enabled all to resume work without dismissal if they returned forthwith.
