DAIRY REGULATIONS.
AUCKLAND FARMERS' PROTESI. At a meeting of the Provincial Executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday the new dairy regulations were discussed at some length, and generally condemned. Mr. Allen Bell, of Waikato, moved a resolution protecting against the regulations, as at present drafted, being brought into force, as, in the opinion of , the executive, such regulations would act detrimentally to the dairying industry throughout New Zealand. . ■The motion was seconded by Mr. A. Bowler, of M'atamata, and carried unanimously. "EXTINGUISHING THE INDUSTRY." [BY telegraph.—OWN COB RESPONDENT.] CHniS'rcHxißcn, Wednesday. The North Canterbury dairymen consider the new dairy regulations prolubitive, and generally express the opinion that tie enforcement of the conditions will tend to extinguish the dairy industry.
