EARTHQUAKES AT FIJI.
Four earthquakes were felt at Levuka on the night of May 28. The first, just before midnight, was, the severest of the tremors. On the morning of May 30 there were two more* shocks, between seven and eight oclock; , the first was only slight, but the. second was a heavier one than thoso-of May 23. .'Crockery ware suffered in some of the residents' • houses. In fact the shock was so bad v,';at people ran out of their houses. Since then two other shocks have occurred. A slight earth tremor was felt in Suva, also oil the morning of May 30.
