THE OLYMPIC GAMES. [-By TELEGRAPH ASSOCIATION' ] Wellington*. Monday. Although the 'Wellington centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association declined to endorse the proposal to send Murray and Kerr to represent New Zealand at the Olympic sanies in London, there i« reason to believe that the scheme, will succeed. Each man's expenses are estimated roughly at £100. and athletic enthusiasts ill t'hnstchureh are reported to have already collected £60. A meeting,' to he presided over by Hr Newman, has been called for Wednesday evening, when the proposal will again_ he discussed liV those who are anxious to see Kerr sent. to the great contest.
