MATRIMONIALLY INCLINED
Mr. Vkn'oir Nathan, the lion, secretary of the Immigation League of Australasia, is often called upon to answer some embarrassing questions. For instance, by last mail a gentleman in a good position in the East, who describes himself as not a young man, being 40 years of age, although robust, healthy, and athletic, and with £2000, writes:—"l have always admired Australian girls, having met r.;any, and at my time of life wish to .settle down in a home of my own. I am not a money-grubber, but should like to find an Australian girl about 30 or 35 with some capital. Would this be difficult?" The writer does not state if the lady in question is to Ik; forwarded abroad, or if he is prepared to come in search of her here.
