A TURKEY GOLDMINE.
Michael Healy, a hotelkeeper at Meeiyan, in the Tarwiit River district (Victoria), was expecting a visit from the Railway Commissioners, and bought from a farmer a suck* ing-pig and a turkey for the table. In the gizzard of the turkey lie found 10 small pieces of gold, weighing it: all half an ounce, lie at once drove off to the farmer and bought the rest of his thick of turkeys, 30 in all. These have not vet been killed.
