» THE COASTAL COMPANIES. MEN AGREE TO CONFERENCE By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright Sydney, Mtireb 13. Afteb seeing the representatives cu the three boycotted coastal companies yesterday, Mr. Wade (the Premier) communicated with the president of the Waterside Workers' Union, and asked him to put before the Strike Committee the proposal to refer the dispute to arbitration. The committee declined to agree to this course, but said they were prepared to meet the coastal companies in conference. Three strikers have been arrested ii. connection with yesterday's demonstrate on the wharves.
