WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.

Hamilton. Thursday. A mkki'ing of the Executive Committee of the Waikuto Winter Show was held 111 the Horse Bazaar today. Mr. A. Bell (president) in the chair. A letter was received from Mr. A. A. Thornton stating that owing to his official position he could not act on the committee, but forwarded the following suggestions for butter classes at the show.. viz. : —
Class 1 : Best two boxes of butter suitable for export., 56! each, open to all factories in New Zealand. Butter to be taken out of the grading store by officials appointed by the Waikato Winter Show Association. at a date during March, 1908, to be determined by the stewards in charge.of section.
Class 2: Best two boxes of butter, 561b each, suitable for export, manufactured under the most favourable conditions. Butter to be sent to one of the Government grading stores, marked with the registered number of the factory, and branded "A" in 2in letters. To be actually delivered into the grading store on or before March 31, 1908. '
Class 3: Best box of farmers' home-made butter, 561b, suitable for export; open to all registered dairies in New Zealand. The butter to be sent to one of the Government grading stores, marked with the registered number of the dairy and the brand " D" in not less than 2in letters. The butler to be actually delivered into a Government grading store on or before March 31, 1908.
