ACCIDENT TO A COALMINER.
[BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Whangakex, Tuesday. A coaljunkr named Burr, whilst working in the Kiripaka mine yesterday, met with an accident of a serious character. A large piece-of coal was dislodged from the roof and fell on his leg, snapping both bones and causing other painful injuries. The sufferer was brought into the Whangarei Hospital this afternoon.
