EXPECTED AT AUCKLAND

Wellington*, Saturday. The warships Powerful, Prometheus, Encounter, and Pioneer sailed for Auckland at twenty minutes past mine this morning. ' : • '■ - ' ;
' The Mayor (Mr. Arthur M. Myers) has received the following telegram from His Excellency Vice-Admiral Fawkes:—"Expect to arrive with squadron Monday evening or Tuesday." . The following is a list of the commanding officers of the fleet: — Powerful: Vice-Admiral Sir Wilmot 11. Fawkes, commander-in-chief. FlagLieutenant, Alfred E. Evans; secretary, Grenville A. Miller. Captain Lionel Halsey, Commander Walter M. Ellerton (N.), Charles S. Willis.
Encounter : Captain H. V. W. Elliott, Commander Godfrey E. Corbett.
Prometheus: Commander Rudolf W. Bentick. _
Pioneer: Commander George H. Borrett. , v .
