NO-LICENSE CAMPAIGN.
[BT TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, Saturday. The Prohibition League at a meeting held last night (Mr. Ell, M.H.R., presiding) discussed ways and means of conducting the next no-license campaign, on the organisation of which the league is now centring . all its energy. It was stated that all liabilities incurred at the last election were discharged, and that a good credit balance
remained at the bank. It is intended to raise a large fund to meet estimated expenditure on the approaching campaign. Mr. T. E. Taylor, ex-M.H.R., was elected pre- , sident. ..
