OTAHUHU MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

' A sitting of the Otahuhu Magistrate's Court -was held on Thursday, Mr. R. W. Dyer, S.M., presiding. A young man was charged with assaulting R. L. Absolum in the Star Hotel on January 14. The prosecution called Mrs. Cuize, wife of the licensee of the hotel,, and ■. R. L. Absolum as ! witnesses, and \ tho defendant called : four of his companions on his behalf.
