THE REMUERA TEAM SERVICE.

Sir,—l should like to know, if tho information is obtainable, why the Remuara tram time-table is the thinnest, and, therefore, worst in the Auckland system, why the. only cars used are those which arc too bad to be. run anywhere else, and why a few of the combination cars, which vould be much better for the numerous turnouts on this section, could not be run m place of such ramshackle affairs us numbers 44 and +9, the former of which appears to be permanently attached to our unfortunate district, and tho latter, no doubt, would be, only that it. happens to bo laid ur> for repairs about half tho time. (In respect ot these two cars, it is a fact that al; nor of tho passengers, when coming to town, always take their fare as far as Newmarket only, changing there to a Parnell or some other car.) Is this unfortunate stato of things tho fault of the Tramways Company, or the members of the Road Board.' I regret that ■ my literary attainments are inadequate to enable me to accurately express my thoughts regarding this service, but I live in hopes that some other sufferers will cake tho matter up, and by a united appeal succeed in obtaining somo improvements. I should like to mention that 011 three occasions recently, viz., last -Saturday, Monday, and Thursday, I had to wait over 20 minutes (time-table says 12} tor a car at tho city terminus,; and I know other people had to wait even longer than that, in some eases at least half-an-houi. May 10. . Bemceba.
