LIBERAL AND LABOUR FEDERATION.
'.' ONEHUNGA BRANCH. A attended meeting of the Onehunga branch of the New Zealand Liberal and Labour Federation was held in ", tho Foresters' Hall on Thursday evening, when MK'.'-W: H. Morton presided. The following recommendations of the Executive Committee were unanimously agreed to:—(1) " That "a committee of four be ■; set up to arrange a syllabus for the remainder of the financial year;" (2) "That the Manukau Electorate Council of the New Zealand Liberal and Labour Federation be formed at once." The committee was appointed, consisting of Messrs. J. H. Ford, E. G. Allsworth, Jas. Glanfield, and W. H.: Morton. Two .candidates were proposed for election. . An amount of routine business was disposed of, after which it was arranged that a progressive euchre party be held at the next monthly meeting, ■ the en-:, try to be- free.' A vote of" condolence was passed to Mr. .1. Park and : his "sisters :in the bereavement sustained that "day in: the loss of their respected mother. t
