TRADES UNION CRIMES IN AMERICA.
OFFICIALS CHARGED WITH MURDER. A REMARKABLE CONFESSION. 'By Telegraph.— Association.— New York, May 9. There is widespread interest, in America in the trial at Boise city, Idaho, of Tom Moyer, president, and William Haywood, secretary; of the Miners' Federation, yon the charge of murdering ex-Governor Steunenberg. a ' Boise is filled with troops. A man named Harry Orchard, has confessed-that he was promised 3000 dollars to kill Steunenberg. He tied a bomb to Steunenberg's gate, and on the latter opening the gate it exploded, with fatal results. Orchard has also stated that; he had planned 26 murders for the inner circle of the Western Federation of Miners. Orchard made Ins confession as far back as February of last year. He then stated that Moyer and Haywood had paid him the 3000 dollars for the murder of the exGovernor.
