[BY telegraph.—-press association.] '■'■ : f ; ' Christchurch, - Tuesday. The officer commanding the volunteer district has issued a strongly worded order, condemning the conduct of certain volunteers at Easter. They uncoupled a train between a waggon and a car, making a ropo fast to the seat of a waggon of the train and to fruit cases on the platform. Apart from the question of inconvenience and possible serious accident, such conduct on the part of • volunteers is described as calculated to bring discredit on the whole of the! force. • The officers commanding the battalion and the companies concerned are directed to prosecute inquiries with a view :■ of bringing a charge against the offenders.
