iIANGERE ROAD BOARD. Thb usual monthly meeting or; the Mange re Road Board was ?beM"i.»t":tho? Public Hall, Mangere, on Monday, when there were present:"Messrs. G..Turk, E". J. Eltett, J. Glasgow, W. Knight, jun.,- and A. 'Henwood. This was tho firs*. meeting of tho newly-elected Board. Mr. Turk .was elected chairman. ' ! The ordinary month'}' meeting of tho Mount Roskill Road Board waa held at the Board office, Three Kings, last evening. There were present: Messrs. Chas. Bas-ley, .C. AVorrali, Geo.. Winstone, E. J. Herd, J.; Ambury, J. Ha-lett, T. E. Hayr, and T. F. Booth (clerk). Mr." C.hos. Bagloy was unanimously re-elected chairman. "Mr, !T. F. Booth, was re-elected secretary, and Mr. T. E. The chairmen, treasurer, «and secretary were appointed to sign oheques. , ■ Tenders: The tender of Mr. A. Higgins for carting supplies was accepted. The Rates: Tho chairman gavo notice to move, at next meeting:" (1.) Defective Meters: It was was reported that several of the large water meters were out of order. Tho chairman remarked that at least one- of these motors had been faulty on four occasions, that at Greenwood's - Corner, and it registered against tho Board.■-. Supply Trust. .'Gas; Lamps: It was decided to view cer-J tain portions of the district, in order to decide upon suitable places for the erection. of» now gas lamps.; Further, it was agreed to communicate-.with the Onehunga Borough Council and.
