HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The Andrew Mack Dramatic Company had a very fine reception on their second appearance at -His Majesty's last .evening, when "Tom Mooro " was repeated. This beautiful play, abounding as it does in opportunities for,,: Mr. Mack's many and rara gifts, was followed with rapt, attention from J>eginning to end, and at the fall of the curtain the audience appeared "" loth to leave the theatre. Pearl Livingstone and the Rose Sisters are very capable serio3 and clever dancers. Victor's ventriloquism is greatly admired. The kickapoo danco is performed by 1* clever children. Shaw and Gilbert are-very, good comedians, j and their patter sketch is very smart. Mr. | Va!. Newton'gives a fino rendering of "The | Little Hero," and *' Would You Care." The New Zealand International Exhibition j is i already a thing of the past.: In the j orchestra thero remains a combination that ; has afforded keen enjoyment. The orche3- j tra's farewell tour of the colony ends in this city, the concerts to be given this week in the Choral Halt constituting tho last performances. A splendid programme has been prepared for this evening's concert, which includes tho Tannhausor Overture, Prelude to Act 111. of Lohengrin, and Liszt's Second Rhapsody, these three numbers being everywhere special -favourites. Mr. Weston, the Melbourne violinist,. will be hoard in "The Deluge,", by Saint Sacns, in which he'will bo accompanied by the full orchestra. The vocalist of the evening is Mr. ■, John Prouse. The plans for the season are now open at Wildman and , Arcy's, and arrangements have been made for special cars to run from tho hall to the" various suburbs after tho performance. - THE GARRISON BAND.
