The total amount of butter-fat received for the month of February at the Masterton Co-operative : Dairy Factory, was 28,9061b. For January the figures were 33,7521b, which shows* a decrease for February of 48461b. , *' '

The closer settlement scheme of the Tasmanian Government as, far as it has gone is reported to be a success. Fifty applications have been received for sections on the recently-required Cheshunt Estate, and the Government is now looking after other estates, with a view to purchase.
