Thk anniversary of the province was celebrated to-day by all the Sunday-schools uniting and holding their annual picnic at Mollis' Bush. The day was beautifully line, and a most enjoyable day resulted. The gathering was the largest of its kind yet held at Waihi, and included a very large number of adults. The Salvation Army Band gave a choice musical programme during the day.
