CANADIAN IMMIGRATION.

Ottawa, January 27. The immigrants who arrived in Canada in, 1900 consisted of 98,257 British, 133,781 Americans, and 53,874 from the nations on the Continent of Europe—a total of 215,912.
The settlers that arrived iu Canada in 1905 numbered 146,000, and in 1906, 175,000. The Canadian Government expects the number to reach 250,000 this year.
