It is wit pleasure (says the Fiji Times) ■ that we have to chronicle that the Customs revenue for 1906 is by ,i long way the largest on record. If our information be correct, ,and we believe it is, the sum total ;f s of tevenue for the financial year just closed '• from this source exceeds one hundred thou- ;; -. sand pounds sterling, and exceeds the estimated amount by £17,000. The particulars v of the nine other divisions of inland revenue are not yet obtainable, but they will doubtless exhibit an increase in sympathy with that appertaining to Lie Customs. The fact that Chamberlain's Cough Kentedy is pleasant to take has made it a favourite with mothers everywhere. To preserve and increase the charm of a good complexion every woman should use Gibbs' Cold Cream Soap. It is the best tonic the tkiu could have.
