BANQUET TO THE PREMIER.

Wellington, Friday. Sevkkai. prominent Wellington citizens have expressed a desire to banquet Sir Joseph Ward previous to his departure on Saturday week for Kngland. The Premier is now being communicated with, if his arrangements permit the function will lake place on the evening of the 25th inst.
