Wellington, Tuesday. Mb. Bollard is to ask the Minister for Agriculture whether he will establish a, school of agriculture in the neighbourhood of the city of Auckland. Mi. Stallworthy has given notice to ask the Minister for Mines whether he will send an uflim- of the Geological Department to the Kaipara district to confer with those settlers who have been endeavouring to discover something of the mineral wealth of that district. Mr. Bollard wishes the Minister for Public Works to state when he intends to commence building the new railway station at Mount Eden, Auckland. Mr. Stallworthy is to ask the Commissioner of Electric Telegraphs whether he. will take immediate steps to have .telephone communication opened up with. Mareretu from Paparoa, He is also asking the Minister for Railways whether he will do away with the differential rate charged on the Helensville-Auck-land railway, by which a small settler, who sends sewb of butter over the line in 10 small lots, is charged 17s 6d, whereas his more fortunate brother, who is wealthy enough to send, his produce in scwt lots, is only charged 2s 6d for the same.
