MINERS ENTOMBED.
FOOD SUPPLY BY BORE. By Telegraph.—Press Association—Copyright. London, February G. Owing to an inrush of water in a coal mine at Clackmannan, in Scotland, on Saturday, five miners became entombed. A party of rescuers reached an upper seam and put down a 2in bore to the place where three of the men are imprisoned, and thus sent them food and also tools to enable them to reach the other two. It is hoped that all the five men will be saved. (Received February 7, 11.5 p.m.) London, February 7.
