Morocco, February 6. The Russian cruiser Oleg has stranded on rocks on the coast of Algiers and is in a bad position.

The Oleg is a cruiser of 6500 tens, and carries 12 6-inch guns. She has a speed of 22 knots. She took part in the great battle of Tsushima on Saturday, May 27. RearAdmiral Enkvist, soon after the first attack by Admiral Togo, escaped with the Oleg, Aurora, and Jemtchug, to Manila, and the vessels were interned there until the making of peace.
