TWO NEW STATES TO BE
ADMITTED.

Washington, January 26. The House of Representatives, by 194 votes to 150, has adopted a Bill admitting Arizona and New Mexico and Oklahama as two new States.
Arizona was organised as a territory in 1863. Its area is 112,920 square miles, and in 1900 its population was 122,931. New Mexico wais organised! in 1850. Its area is 122,460 square miles, and its population in 1860 was 195,000. Oklahama was organised in 1890. It is of 38,830 square miles, and in 1900 had a population of 398,000. There are at present 45 States in the Union.
