PROPERTY SALES.

At Mr. J. Thoraes' auction mart yesterday,, at noon, there was a good attendance, when: a number of properties were offered. An allotment at Morningside, with a frontage of 81ft to the New North Road, and a cottage thereon, was submitted, uud the highest offer was £290, at which price it was passed in, but subsequently the property was sold for £300. A property in Arney Road, Remuera, consisting of over half-an-acre of land, and a residence of eight rooms, caused some spirited competition, but tbi» highest price offered was £8515, at which price it was passed in. An allotment, 50ft frontage to Manukau Road, by 100 ft; to Claybrook Road, Parnell, was sold for £312 9s 6d, which was equal to £6 2s 6d per foot. For a property in Dunbarstreet, Mount Roskill, 66ft by 132 ft, with a house of six rooms, the highest bid wi«« £370, at which price it was withdrawn. Two allotments, each 66ft by i32ft, in Buxton Road, were sold for £200. For 100 shares in the Lej land-O'Brien Timber Company, £210 was realised. Messrs. S. Cochrane and 6on sold by auction yesterday a; property sit Onehunga, consisting of an allotment 33Jft to Queea.street, and 110 ft to Church-street, with the building known as the Gospel Hall, for £480.

Messrs. Warren Blyth and Co. sold by, auction yesterday an allotment in Keppelstreet,. Archhill, of half-an-acro amd a four-

roomed cottage, for £240.
