PUTTING UP A RECORD.
MAHENO'S PASSENGER LIST. [BY telegraph.— corespondent.] ;.'•,:': Dcnedin, Thursday. On her present trip from Melbourne, via Dunedin, to Sydney, the Mabeno must be putting up something like a passenger record. She " brought 43 saloon" passengers from Melbourne and 15 from HoDart and the Bluff. No less than 90 eafloon passengers joined her at Dunedin, and 117 are to join her at Wellington... . This does not take into account the passengers who are booking at Lytte-ltou, nor the total number of secondclass passengers, which is proportionately large. > , ■-■ t ; ,' • . •
