GREAT RECEPTION AT DELHI. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright. (Received December 13, 9.21 p.m.) . Bombay, December 13. ,The Prince and Princess of Wales have arrived at Delhi, and were given a magnificent reception. Their Royal Highnesses have visited the Golden Temple of Amritsar. Amritsar (Pool of Immortality) was founded in 1854- by Guru Ram Das, the apostle of the Sikhs, around a sacred tank, and from tho midst rises the Darbar Sahib, the great marble temple of tho Sikh faith. Delhi, of course, became famous in the mutiny, and is a magnificent city, with a population of about 200,000.
