London, April 28. When the steamer Rimutaka,jiound from New Zealand to London, was near Cape Verde, ?, passenger named Mrs. Weeks jumped overboard.
A steward named Pearce sprang overboard after her, and reached and supported her for half an hour until both were picked up by a boat.
