THE MOROCCAN INCIDENT.
ACUTE STAGE PASSED. BRITISH MINISTER FOR FEZ. By Telegraph Press Association.—Copyright. (Beeelved April 29, 1.22 a.m.) London, April 28. The Berlin correspondent of the Times says that the Moroccan incident has passed the acute stage, and that M. Taillandier, representing France ; Herr Tattenbach, representing Germany, and Mi. Lowther, representing Britain, will visit Fez simultaneously next month. London, April 27. The Times correspondent at Tangier says that Mr. Gerard A. Lowther, British Envoy to Morocco, has been promoted to the rank of British Ministei, and nas been ordered to proceed to Fez about the middle of May and present his credentials to the Sultan.
Hitherto Britain has been represented by Mr. Lowther at Tangier as Consul, with the local rank of second secretary in the diplomatic service'.
