AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD.
AN INCREASING REVENUE.
The adjourped annual meeting of the Auckland. Harbour Board was held yesterday afternoon,' there being present: The Ho*. 13. Mitchelson * (chairman), Messrs. S. C. Brown, W. E. Hutchison, W. J. W. Philson, J. M. Mennie. and C. C. Dacre.
The Chairman, in presenting the annual report for the year ended December, 1904, said the income of the Board now amounted to almost £72.000. and showed a prosperous condition of affairs, and that the financial condition was thoroughly secure. The revenue for the year amounted to £71,908 15s 6d, an increase of £4531 3s 3d on that of 1903. The profits 011 the year's transactions amounted to £23,361 12s sd, which, with last year's balance of £30,296 15s 5d made it balance* of £53,661 7s lOd. The addition to the capital account during the year amounted to £33,870 7s 6r, written off for depreciation £29,168 5s lid, thus leaving the net value of the property of the Board at £824.704 19s.
