SAN DOMINGO.
A TREATY SET ASIDE. By Telegraph Association— (Received March 16, 11.51 p.m.) Washington, March 16. The United States Senate has virtually laid aside the treaty entered into by President Roosevelt with the Republic of San Domingo. Under the treaty, the United States undertook to .'administer the Customs and remodel the fiscal system of San Domingo, and also to adjust the claims of foreign countries upon the Republic. The United States guaranteed not to establish a protectorate or interfere in the Republic's domestic affairs. . _
