JAPANESE FORTIFIED LINES.
A RUSSIAN REPORT. (IWceivca Juno SI, 11.10 p.m.) London, June 24. Russian official reports show that the Japanese are steadily pushing on with the construction of the line of defences between Pi-tsze-wo and Port Adams, and that they intend to construct another line of defences from Suiyen to SiUng-yUe-cheng, south of Kaiping. The object of these works is to expel the Russians from the northern part of the peninsula.
