DUNEDIN TRAMWAYS.
[fit telegraph.—-press ASSOCIATION.] Duneoin, Wednesday. The city has deferred till next meeting coming to a decision on the proposal subletted by Noyes Bros., of an alternative route of the electric trams to get over the difficulty raised by narrow streeTs in suburban boroughs. This proposal was to make a deviation from the Anderson's Bay route to Tahuna Park, and ; joining V the line through South Dunedin and St. Kilda. By this means the double line would only be required for a few chains through Caversham, the rest being single.
