ST. GEORGE'S ROWING CLUB. The above club concluded their season lasfc Saturday with the annual contest for the Thomas Challenge Cup (pair oars). Four pairs competed, which gave three good races. in the first heat Thomson and limes beat Rushy and Black by two and a-half lengths, in the second bent Richards and Stone won a hard race from Waddy and Ai-mitage by half a-lcngth, and in the final Thomson anil Innes met and defeated Richards and Stone, • jumping off with a lead, which they gradually increased to a couple of lengths at the finish, Allen and Ronayne were coxswains, the latter steering the winners in each heat. The winning pair were heartily cheered on comimr ashore. ...-..;•'■•■. ,- : '
