At the Canterbury Park (N;S.W.) Racing Club's meeting:, held on the 19th inst., th« Auckland-bred gelding Regalia 11, won th* Jumpers' Flat Race, run over a mile and: three furlongs, boating 1 a field o! eight in line style. Regalia 11. carried lOst 101b, and started an odds-on favourite at l> to 4.
Mr. R. R. Maitland has been appointed handicapner to the Victoria .Amateur TurE Club vice Mr. George Vowlcs, resigned. The privileges of the Auckland Trotting Club's meeting, to be held at Alexandra Park on May 3 and 7, are to bo offered lo«day lit noon at Messrs. Gabriel Lewis and Co.'s mart.
