Horseowners are reminded that nominations for Takapuna Cup, T.J.C. Handicap, and Takapuna Steeplechase, to be run at the summer meeting of the Takapuna Jockey Club, close to-night at ten o'clock. Acceptances for the trotting events to be decided on the opening da? of the Auckland Trotting Club's "Summer Meeting close tonight at ten o'clock. The privileges of the meeting will be offered at noon to-day by Mr E. P. GoldsbroV Miss M. E. Berkeley-Morton's picture of the famous New Zealand racei Advance has been placed on exhibition at Messrs. Phillinps and Sons' shop. A chestnut two-year-old colt by Medallion, bred in Australia, also the work of Miss Berkeley-Morton, is also on exhibition.
