Horseowners are reminded that nominations for Takapuna Cup, T.J.C. Handicap, and Takapuna Steeplechase, to be run at the summer meeting of the Takapuna Jockey Club, close to-night at ten o'clock. Acceptances for the trotting events to be decided on the opening da? of the Auckland Trotting Club's "Summer Meeting close tonight at ten o'clock. Berkeley-Morton's picture of the famous New Zealand racei Advance has been placed on exhibition at Messrs. Phillinps and Sons' shop. A chestnut two-year-old colt by Medallion, bred in Australia, also the work of Miss Berkeley-Morton, is also on exhibition.
