CORNWALL PARK.
THANKS TO THE MAYOR. At the meeting of the City Council last night, on the motion of Mr. 'J'. T. Minefield, the following motion was adopted with applause:—"That Messrs. Kidd, liaunie, and Parr be requested to draw up a memorial of thanks on behalf of the Council and citizens of Auckland, to the Mayor (Dr. J. Logan Campbell), for his handsome gut pi One-tree Hill as a public park,"
