At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night a motion that tho union should take all the gate receipts in connection with tho tour of the New South Wale.? team was lost, and the following amendment agreed to: — "That the unions concerned be asked to take control of tho match to Ik) played in each respective district, and guarantee to the New Zealand Union £'125 each in the case of Wellington, Auckland and Otago ; £75 for Canterbury ; and £50 each for Wanganui and Southland ; or as an alternative that each union give the whole not proceeds to tho New Zealand Union."
