RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. At the inquest on Bernard Riley, who died from injuries received on the railway line while traversing Jervois Quay, through a collision between the train and the express he was driving, a verdict of death by misadventure was returned, with a rider recommending that the line should be protected. The evidence tended to show that the man was not sober on the night of the accident.
