[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Thursday. THE RELIEVING MAGISTRATE. Dr. McArthur, to whom the position of relieving Stipendiary Magistrate was offered, does not see his way to accept the office. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN CONCILIATION ACT. The Minister for Justice has received a copy of the Conciliation Act. of the abovenamed colony, accompanied by a request to be furnished with information concerning (he working of the New Zealand Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act. This request will be complied with. TECHNICAL INSTRUCTION. The two organising inspectors to be appointed under this Act will be required to assist the Department by advice, to deliver lectures, to advise the local authorities in forming classes, to inspect associated classes, to organise Maori attendance at schools, to assist at examinations, and to do any other work required for the administration of the Act.
