THE YACHT RAINBOW.
ARRIVAL AT TAUP.ANGA.
(by TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Taur vnoa, Wednesday. Tins morning Mr. A. T. Pittar's yacht Rainbow arrived here from Auckland, having a part}' of six gentlemen on board, consisting of Mr. Fitter, his two brothers, and Messrs. Foster, Basley, and J. Alexander. Auckland was left on Sunday morning last, Mercury Island! on Monday, and a course shaped for Mercury Bay. The bay was left yesterday morning, and the party called in at Mayor Island, where they had some good fishing, and visited the little bay where the Maori settlement is located. The Bainbow leaves for Gisborne to-morrow afternoon, going on thence to Lyttelton to take part in the yacht races there. ,
