CONFIRMATION SERVICE AT OTAHUHU.

His Lordship the Primato held a confirmation service in Holy Trinity Church, Otahuhu, on Sunday morning. Thirteen candidates (four bovs and nine girls) were presented to the Bishop by the Rev. Canon Gould for confirmation. The Bishop gave a most helpful and thoughtful address based on St. John vi. 11, 12, part of tho gospel for the day. He pointed out how the miracle of feeding 'the 5000 by the Sea of Galilee was alone recorded by the four evangelists, thus showing its great importance and its profound teaching, especially for this the last Sunday of the Church's year. The Bishop reviewed the great and unexpected events of this year, he urged his hearers during the comintr year to gather up the fragments, especially of time, that nothing he' lost, and to exercise charity towards all men, find thereby help to bring into one family all who love the Lord Jesus Christ.
