Owing to the extremely severe weather which I provailed on Saturday last the races of the | Parnell Sailing Ciub were postponed until | Saturday afternoon next. i The Auckland Rowing Club "At Home,' j which was to have inaugurated lie season on I Saturday, had to be postponed on account 'of the boisterous weather. Many of the | members and a large sprinkling of the public j turned up at the Hobson-street Wharf, buit it was soon evident that the bringing off of the trial fours at any rate was out of the question. Consequently the committee decided to put off the whole function to an indefinite data..
