[BY tELEGEAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Hokitika, Tuesday. The Governor, accompanied by Mr. Seddon, went to Lake Mahinapua to-day by boat and from thence they were driven to Ross, where they were met by the Mayor and borough councillors. A public address was presented. The party visited the Mont d'Or and Ross United mines, and returned to Hokitika by road, passing through Rimu and Kanieri, at which places addresses were presented. There was a great display of enthusiastic loyalty everywhere. During the afternoon Lady Ranfurly and party drove to the head of Lake Mahinapua, and returned to town by boat. Tho Governor and Countess go to Kumara by road tomorrow, leaving for Christchurch on Thursday.
