ACCIDENT AT THE MIRANDA.

[by telegraph— correspondent.] Thames, Saturday. On Thursday the young daughter of Mr, J. Peters, residing at the Miranda, tripped and fell whilst stepping over some vines, with the result that her arm was broken just above tho dhow. She was brought over to Thames for treatment at the hospital here, but as the break was a very bad one, Mr. Peters afterwards took her on to Auckland, in order that the X rays might be used in connection with the injured limb.
