DIAMOND JUBILEE HOSPITAL FOR GOROMANDEL
[B? TKLKORAPH.-OWN CORItESPONDgNT,] Coromandel, Wednesday. Great interest is being taken in the forthcoming demonstration for the erection of the Chromandel Diamond Jubilee Hospital. On Sunday, May '23, the Friendly Socioties and Miners' Union inarch in prodessloh to the Conventi Grounds, whore a platform will be orooted. Mr. Ben Tillet nud Mr. Connolly (Amerioan Consul) huve been invited to deliver addresses. The choirs of all the churches are joining tot/ether for special anthems for thab day. On Monday (Queen's Birthday) a carnival of sports will lie held, to conclude with a concert and datico in the evening. In Juno, during the Jubileo week, a hospital ball will be held. The whole of the proceeds, together with independent subscriptions, will go towards the funds for a now building.
